Dajjal

On January 14, 2010, Benjamin Creme, self proclaimed messenger of the "Master" and Maitreya, announced that the World Teacher, the awaited Messiah, the Mahdi, and Christ - Maitreya - had given his first public tv interview in the United States to a "large TV station" and was viewed by "millions of people" on live TV as well as on the internet.

f-patel rajRaj PatelDespite meticulous research done not only by me, but also by many other people, one has still to find this infamous interview. And although some have proposed that Maitreya is actually a guy called Raj Patel, Mr. Patel himself has denied this in his Blog[1]. But, let us start from the beginning, since you might ask what does this have to do with Dajjal.

Who is Maitreya?

According to Buddhism, Maitreya Buddha is the next incarnation of Buddha, supposed to come in the future. Creme's Maitreya however is according to him not only that, but more: The "peaceful" looking guy in the photo, is according to Creme the real Christ, the Messiah awaited by the Jews and the Mahdi awaited by muslims. He supposedly appeared in 1988 "out of thin air" to a large crowd in Nairobi, Kenya, performed many miracles, healed the sick and so on, to again disappear into thin air at the end.

brotherhoodss18 03Benjamin CremeNow, here comes the good part: Creme has been announcing the "imminent" emergence of Maitreya since 1982, posting ads on newspapers and later even on television, and at one time in the 90s he evenDajjal, the synonimous biblical Antichrist - will cover our eyes with deception, hiding his true nature and presenting evil as good. announced a precise date for his tv interview where Maitreya was supposed to speak to "the whole world" and everybody was supposed to hear him speak in their respective language! Yeah, well, that seems to have been one more case of hot air from Creme. Needless to say that since then his credibility has sunk exponentially and he was regarded by the mainstream media as another new age lunatic.

But, since last year things have started to get interesting: Creme announced on his Share International website that a "Star" would be heralding the public declaration of Maitreya - a bright new star that would be visible from every corner of the earth. He later on explained that this star would indeed be 4 large UFOs, positioned on opposite sides of the earth, so that people of every continent would be able to see it simultaneously. Promptly, a large number of amateur videos popped up on Youtube and similar video portals, showing a "star" which wasn't there before. Furthermore, when the Norway Spiral[2] showed up - Creme declared this to be the definitive sign of Maitreyas imminent interview which he would give to a big US tv network. Thus, his announcement from January 14. This time, however, so Creme, Maitreya would not present himself as "Maitreya" - this, in order for people to actually concentrate on his message, and not on his person ...

To summarise, Creme says Maitreya is the Messiah who will unite the world, bring peace and justice, and declare that we all are Gods actually. He will perform miracles and great signs and establish a one world religion. Furthermore, he is not a human, he is divine. Now, here is where Dajjal comes into play.

Who is Dajjal?

Dajjal, according to islamic tradition is an apocaliptic figure, who will present himself as Messiah, will perform miracles and great signs, will DECEIVE people into believing in him, by saying that he is for peace and justice, while establishing one world religion - which in reality will be the opposite - he will thus be directly against God, promoting himself as God. The basic root word Dajjala means "to cover", as in covering something with a cloth - so, Dajjal, the synonimous biblical Antichrist - will cover our eyes with deception, hiding his true nature and presenting evil as good.

maitreyaimportD0MaitreyaHe will talk of peace and justice, but in reality he will prepare the world for a tiranny. There are many hadiths - islamic traditions, sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) - about Dajjal, and although one can never rely 100% on hadiths - contrary to Qur'an, which is the unchanged original Word of God - the fascinating descriptions given in those hadiths about this person/figure and the end times, show a remarkable picture of the world before Dajjals imminent emergence, which one can easily identify with what is happening today.

In a hadith, Muhammad (pbuh) said: "I warn you against him (i.e. the Dajjal) and there was no prophet but warned his nation against him. No doubt, Noah warned his nation against him but I tell you about him something of which no prophet told his nation before me. You should know that he is one-eyed, and Allah is not one-eyed." [3]

This is remarkable because of the detail that Dajjal would be one-eyed: This doesn't necessarily have to mean that the person Dajjal will only have one eye - this can be a symbol. One such symbol is the one eyed pyramid on the dollar bill - a symbol undoubtedly used by Freemasons.

What will Dajjal do?

"He will come to the people and invite them (to a wrong religion); they will affirm their faith in him and respond to him. He will then give a command to the sky: there will be rainfall upon the Earth and it will grow crops. Then in the evening, their pasturing animals will come to them with their humps very high, their udders full of milk and their flanks distended. He will then come to another people and invite them. But they will reject him so he will go away from them; they will have a drought and nothing will be left with them in the form of wealth. He will then walk through the desert and say to it: Bring forth your treasures. The treasures will come out and gather before him like a swarm of bees. He will then call someone in the flush of youth, strike him with the sword, cut him into two pieces and (make these pieces lie at the distance which is generally between the archer and his target. He will then call (that young man) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming (with happiness)." [4]

So, we see that Dajjal will do many miracles, he will even bring people back to life. Yet, what he will present as Paradise, will be in fact Hell, and vice-versa. According to the Gospels, Jesus says something similar: "False messiahs and false prophets will appear. They will work miraculous signs and do wonderful things to deceive, if possible, those whom God has chosen." [5]

So, who is Maitreya then?

Well, it should be clear by now - if Cremes Maitreya starts performing "miracles" and signs - you know who he is. And if he doesn't perform that, yet Creme continues talking about him and trying to "convert" people to Share Interantional's religion - this too is a form of the Dajjal deception.

Muslims are aware that anyone claiming "prophethood" or divinity is a Fraud, for God is ONE, and Prophethood ended with Muhammad.
